Sandwich is embarking on a new chapter alongside its friends at the NeuroHope clinic and is inviting colleagues from Malmaison into an unexplored space where each artist can arrange their work as if in a miniature studio. The clinic’s fifth floor becomes both a laboratory and a meeting ground for artists who have been neighbors for years but have never come together in this way until now.
Bloc Operator 1 marks the first stage of an exhibition inaugurating Sandwich NeuroHope, a cultural venue that merges two complementary worlds—art and medicine—both pursued with the same passion. A contemporary art gallery housed inside a multidisciplinary clinic: what could feel more natural? The new collaboration intends to extend Sandwich’s program by rethinking its impact on its own community while opening new conversations with the world now unfolding before it.
Founded by neurosurgeons Dr. Dorin Bică and Dr. Ionuț Gobej, NeuroHope delivers excellence in minimally and ultra-minimally invasive endoscopic/keyhole neurosurgery and offers consultations across a wide spectrum of medical and surgical specialties, ensuring healthcare of the highest standards. The NeuroHope team unites physicians from 20 medical and surgical fields, adopting a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating patients’ conditions.
This event is part of the Program “Sandwich Grand Tour".
